In between the visits of the East Bank and the West Bank, you will enjoy lunch at around noon in a local restaurant in Luxor on the East Bank, crossing the Nile by felucca.
The East Bank of the River Nile is home to the majestic site of Karnak, which we will take you on a guided tour of. This pharaonic complex is the largest in the world and houses various temples and ancient buildings that will take your breath away. The scenes at Karnak make for a very photogenic site.
After crossing the Nile, you will encounter the two Colossi of Memnon, who guard the ruins of the Amenhotep III Temple. Your next stop is the fabulous terraced Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh before we reach the Valley of the Kings, the mysterious scene of many a tomb of ruling pharaohs.
